Fire up the grill for this easy grilled ribeye steak recipe. Thick-cut ribeyes are generously seasoned with BBQUE TEXAS Prime Time Seasoning, grilled hot at 600°F, then rested for a tender, juicy medium-rare steak packed with bold flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 thick-cut ribeye steaks
- Allegro Original Marinade enough to coat the steaks
- BBQUE TEXAS Prime Time Seasoning to taste
Instructions
- Instructions
- Place the ribeyes in a dish or resealable bag and coat with Allegro Original Marinade. Let the steaks marinate for 30 minutes.
- Remove the ribeyes from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels. Season both sides with BBQUE TEXAS Prime Time Seasoning to your desired liking. We like a generous coating for plenty of flavor.
- Preheat your grill to approximately 600°F. You want the grill good and hot before the steaks hit the grates.
- Place the ribeyes directly on the hot grill and let them cook without constantly moving them around. Flip only once and continue grilling until they reach your preferred internal temperature. We like ours medium rare, so we pull them at approximately 125°F. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the steaks and your grill, so cook to temperature rather than time.
- Remove the ribeyes from the grill and wrap them in foil. Let them rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the steak and helps keep every bite tender and juicy.
- Unwrap the rested ribeyes, slice against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.
