Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tenders

These delicious parmesan garlic chicken tenders are easy, flavorful & cluckin’ good! This is a meal the entire family will love. They are soaked overnight in buttermilk & garlic, then fried to a golden perfection with a satisfying crunch.

  • 2 Lbs Chicken Breast
  • 1 Qt Buttermilk
  • ¾ Cup Dukes Mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ Cups All Purpose Flour
  • BBQUE TEXAS Cluckin’ Good Seasoning
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley Chopped
  • ¼ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • ¼ cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 3 Tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Lemon
  • 2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Qts Canola Oil
  • Hot Wing Sauce or Ranch for dipping optional


  • You’ll start first by cutting your chicken breasts into strips, season them lightly with garlic powder and place them it in a bowl of buttermilk overnight. The buttermilk contains enzymes that will tenderize the meat.
  • The next day, take the chicken tenders out of the buttermilk and lay them flat onto a sheet of parchment paper. Then season them generously with the BBQUE TEXAS Cluckin’ Good Seasoning on both sides. Then you’ll dredge the chicken in flour mixture, one by one. Ensure each piece of chicken is generously and evenly coated on both sides.
  • Heat your canola oil in a pot on high until it reaches 350 degrees. Then drop your floured chicken breasts in the canola oil and fry them until golden browned and their internal temp reaches 165.
  • Next, you’ll make your parmesan sauce. Combine together the Dukes Mayonnaise, grated parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon of the BBQUE TEXAS Cluckin’ Good Seasoning and the juice of a squeezed lemon. Whisk the ingredients together well.
  • Top your tenders with the sauce, ¼ cup of shredded parmesan and fresh parsley for garnish. Now you’re ready to enjoy these tasty garlic parmesan chicken tenders!
